Our Dentists

Cristina David, D.D.S.

Dr. Cristina David received her D.D.S. degree -- Doctor of Dental Surgery -- from the New York University School of Dental Medicine, Manhattan, New York in 2001. She received her Associate in Arts: Pre-Dentistry (1992) and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (1996) at Centro Escolar University, Manila, Philippines.

Dr. David received her post doctoral General Practice residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New Hyde Park, New York from 2001-2003. Her final year of Residency was distinguished by being appointed Chief Resident.

Dr. David is now in private practice and is currently a member of the following dental societies:

  • Nassau County Dental Society
  • American Dental Association
  • Dental Society of the State of New York

Currently, Dr. David is an assistant attending dentist with full privileges at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Department of Dental Medicine.

Dr. David has published in several professional journals and has been involved in volunteer work, such as Operation Smile in Manila, Philippines. Operation Smile was an outreach program where Dr. David provided free dental education and dental treatment to underserved urban communities.



Gina Sajnani, D.M.D.

Dr. Gina Sajnani received her D.M.D. degree -- Doctor of Dental Medicine -- from the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She also received her Masters in Graduate Education from the University of Pennsylvania. She received her B.A. degree in Sociology and her B.S. degree in Biochemistry at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Dr. Sajnani received her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She has received numerous honors and awards and has taken many leadership roles for the advancements of children and their dental health.

Dr. Sajnani has been in private practice limited to Pediatric Dentistry since 2004 and is currently a member of the following dental societies:

  • Nassau County Dental Society
  • American Dental Association
  • American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
  • New York State Dental Association
  • New York State Association of Pediatric Dentists

Currently, Dr. Sajnani is an assistant attending at Schneider's Children's Hospital of the Long Island Jewish Medical Center and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine.
